YAHWEH

These encounters changed lives, shaped history, and brought about redemption for the entire human race. And it all began by God revealing Himself to one person at a time. God still talks to us today. Really. Now, He might not communicate with a big, booming voice, but He’s there, communicating, guiding… loving.
This 48-week series, YAHWEH: Divine Encounters in the Old Testament, sets the mood and tone for God’s one-on-one, rational style with all the heroes of the Old Testament and it provides new insight about God’s self-revelation in all our lives every day. Divine Encounters in the Old Testament will give you the opportunity to encounter God as you see how God divinely revealed Himself throughout His Word. You will discover the struggles of key characters within the creation story, examine the examples of patriarchs, wrestle with the leadership of judges, study the lives of kings and prophets and delve into the impact of other selected men and women who followed God whole-heartedly.
Find Your Place

There is a place where you will be challenged to GROW in your faith, with people on the same journey. You will be challenged to discover God's story, to share your story, to be part of other's story, and together to live out the story God has planned for you.
Willow Hills has a variety of adult small groups for individuals, couples, those just starting the journey, and those all along the path. Some meet on Sunday mornings, but others throughout the week.
Each is designed to lead the group to help each other in the journey: learning from the Bible and each other, praying together, worshiping together, giving together, and going together.
To be part of one of our groups, you can signup here, for a specific group (most are listed below), or tell us a little about yourself and we'll help you find a group.
Sign Language Classes
Would you like to learn to sign to the Deaf?
Do you want to learn how to sign worship music?
Come join us on Tuesday nights – 5:30 to 7:30
Room B214-216
We have a class of new learners starting again on Tuesday night, January 10, 2012 for a 12-week study of Sign Language. There are only 3 spots remaining, so if you wish to be included in this next class, call as soon as you can.
We are studying from the book “Signing Naturally” by Cheri Smith, Ella Mae Lentz and Ken Mikos .
We are taught how to sign each word or phrase given in the book, then we learn how to use those signs in conversation. A variety of different teaching methods are used, from lecture and video to games and interaction among the students.
If you would like to be included in our class, please give me a call at 443-1149 or come to the class on Tuesday evenings and see for yourself if this is something you may want to be a part of. I look forward to meeting you.
