So, what is AWANA?

AWANA is a Bible-memorization ministry used to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ so they will come to know, love, and serve Him. AWANA is designed to give boys and girls the opportunity to build lasting friendships, establish positive role models, and provide practical life application in a safe and fun environment. AWANA is an acronym for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed taken from our ministry verse 2 Timothy 2:15 “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the Word of truth.” (ESV)

Why should you bring your child(ren) to AWANA?

In the world we live in today we are seeing more and more opposition to teaching the gospel, to discipling children, to living our lives in obedience to God. The world wants their hearts, minds, and souls. Each Sunday night from 5pm-7pm kids have the opportunity to hear God’s truths, learn about His love for them, and know about His desire to have a personal relationship with them through AWANA!

AWANA Includes 3 Parts.

Game Time.

This provides the opportunity for children to play fun games while learning good sportsmanship, leadership skills and communication.

Handbook time.

This provides children with the opportunity to develop relationships in a small group while reciting and discussing God’s Word.

Large Group time.

Children and leaders join together for a Biblical historical account that includes worship and prayer.

We also hold special events throughout the school year such as Sparky Drive-in, AWANA Store, Grand Prix, AWANA Games, and so much more!
